I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from New York University in 1986. My internships were at Albert Einstein Hospital's In-Patient Psychiatry unit and Gouveurneur Hospital's Out-Patient Mental Health Clinic.
Subsequently, I worked and received post-graduate training at Hawthorne Cedar Knolls Residential Treatment Center and the Queens Child Guidance Center both located in New York.
In 1992 I was certified as a Bradley Childbirth Educator and incorporated childbirth education and coaching into my practice. By 2005 I received a post-graduate certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Psychoanalytic Center of California in Los Angeles, and completed two years of training in ontological communication through Landmark Education, also in Los Angeles, in May of 2009.
Currently, I am working toward receiving my doctorate in Psychoanalysis at the internationally recognized Psychoanalytic Center of California in Los Angeles, where I also served as the Candidate President from 2012-2014.
